OK, so I had a plan to make a v100 log Undeleter. So I needed to do 50 researches on a v1 log undeleter for 330 hours. All was going good. Then this update came, at first it was going to cost me 1650000 hpd, 25,000 Mhz CPU, and 1,500,000 mb mem. Now it has cost me over 10,000,000hpd, and I have only completed 11 of the 50 processes. 10 MILLION HPD it has cost me SO FAR. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!        If you want the game to restart Emi, then just say it directly, don't ruin the game for every one instead. |

nagitof: after some of my research for pw def finished (had around 700
total research tasks), i spent 9m HPD just upgrading hardware.... now
all im doing is installing as many viruses as i can everyday and upgrading
hardware

OK, I have an income of 1.5m to 2m a day and I'm still having trouble with HPD cause of hardware upgrades.

fileshare gives bw*1.2 per hour income.
Once you reach the ability to install a 4.xx a day the you end up hitting the cap of action points /day
which costs about 700k/day in hardware (not counting discount) which you can reach with about 24k worth of fileshare BW.

At this point, all hardware is essentially frozen at the version it is currently maxed at... adding any sort of meaningful level to a v100+ software is going to end up being too expensive to be worth it... people might as well just buy software off the software dealer at this point...

not really, you can always get a few levels here and there. its just going to take longer, besides if you just divert your ap to creating more virii farms to make more money to make more hardware, it would be less of a problem

It doesn't take AP to make hardware. And if you meant HPD, you really can't put more than a certain amount in per day; you won't have enough AP to fill all the farms you could create.

Assuming people eventually start having successful research again, this change also has teh sideeffect of making revelation and overload bombs ridiculously overpowered.
