Currently it stands at 50 MHz for 150 HPD, and 3MB for 150 HPD.

I suggest that its changed to,

1 MHz for 3 HPD
1 MB for 50 HPD

It would make upgrading a lot simpler.

I sort of like the current ratio because it is about the average of the ratios used by most software.  Firewall protects, password breaks, and undeleters relate to it particularly well, such that when a program is going to require 1 point in CPU (50 MHz) it requires about 1 point in Mem (3,072 Kb).

when I upgrade my servers, I always put the same amount into cpu as I do ram as I have noticed the same thing Tiak stated.

When I upgrade my server I ussualy put 3000 CPU and 3000 Mem, and it almost always stays even with each other. Now all programs are equale with the CPU to Mem upgrades, but when I first started the decryter was 2000 Mhz to 50,000 Kb. Now it has changed.

Also, your idea would make it take a lot '9999' in order to upgrade your sever.

I got bored so why not manipulate a screenshot and shove it into peoples faces without getting yelled at?

Two things

one, theres a misstake on your picture (but fixed or not its great). The mem cost. The hard drive price for a Tb is 10x the correct amount, and 'bites' to 'kb' to 'mb' to 'gb' it 1024 (which is way you can overload HDD capacity to 102%)

two, the 3 mb upgrade shoud be the base. Theres is a very good reason way it shoud be three. One that would take ME well over an hours to type, and others life times to figure out "WHO THE HELL THINKS LIKE THAT? LIKE COME ON!" and then I would start a life times path to ask my self th same question. And also, Emi's server (real on that the game is on) might only count the amoun of upgrades, then the accuall systeme specs of your server. Its saves a lot of space in mass quantities.

But all in all. love the picture Arthur Dent. (there isn't a thumbs up smily but THUMBS UP)

The image was just there for giving you an idea of how I meant. Heres the real numbers Id like to present:
Code:
Uprade server by CPU (5 Thz) Hard Drives (100 Tb) Memory (300 Gb) Bandwidth (100 Mbs)
Times: x 15 000 000 HPD x 30 000 000 HPD x 15 000 000 HPD x 30 000 000 HPD
Uprade server by CPU (5 Ghz) Hard Drives (100 Gb) Memory (300 Mb) Bandwidth (100 kbs)
Times: x 15 000 HPD x 30 000 HPD x 15 000 HPD x 30 000 HPD
Uprade server by CPU (5 Mhz) Hard Drives (100 Mb) Memory (300 kb) Bandwidth (0,1 kbs)
Times: x 15 HPD x 30 HPD x 15 HPD x 30 HPD

My picture isnt up there with the numbers I want to show you. It was very quickly done and my intention was to write down the numbers afterwards. The reason it took so long was because a broken computer (3 time in a month). Thats the reason Ive not replied to certain topics unleash a person post before me; I was just able to read but not post which lead to disorder.
