Here's an idea which might encourage a little more PvP in the game.   You first would have to hack someones server, then start a scan...you would have to remain logged into their server for the duration of the scan so it would have to be like a 20 min scan or so unlike a regular IP scan where you can scan it and leave. During the scan process it compares your IP database with that of the target...it identifies common IPs of both databases and inparticular ones that you currently don't have admin access to with those your target does...at the end of scan there is a chance(whatever random probability outcome is programmed) there is a chance you would be able to steal that servers password and gain Admin access to it without having to hack it yourself. Just a rough idea. I dont have any programming experience so I don't know if this is even feasible.

This would be REALLY useful for groups, just let your friends hack you and get admin to servers that they CANT crack.

Yes and no...but it would be a low percentage like getting the IP of the person when you run a Virus Identifier. It's not meant to be a simple matter of crack and scan and auto gain admin...the chances are very low but it would add a PvP element to the game.

I think emi should implement group fuctions, so info would be public, and highest groups could get into the hall of fame at the end of each round.

this idea could work, like it. maybe return a list of all possible ips and let a user select an ip to crack, then matching the time to crack ordinarily, with a 0.06%, rising by 0.0005% each time, until version 50 is reached in which case it reduces by 0.00000005% gained, reducing by 0.000001% each 0.5 version, with a 5% cap of max. percent for crack? may be a bit too much, what do u think?  21

atention atention atention atention atention atention huh?

how bout a v1 is 2% and it  increases per level
ex.  v.5=1% v1=2% v2=3% v3=3.75%  v4=4.2175 (pulls the plug at 10%)

10% might be a bit much, but I guess you're only getting one server in that second form, and the thing you have to realize bontrose is that you won't have exactly a v2 or v3 file, it's gonna be 2.45361 and then what are you gonna do for percentages.

I like the original idea better than the second form of the idea.

Note you have to make it in a percentage that disallow having a +100% probability of getting the target DB with the 15 tasks aviable for each target from each gateway. It it reaches 100% or over, you have just to run the program the 15 times and then click complete untill you get the db, at the first round of runs.

It would be around... 1% prob ALWAYS? The prize is too juicy.
