If i am doing a password change while someone is trying to crack my server, what happens then?

He will have to recrack it IF you do it after he completes. Otherwise nothing.

Yes, it is a matter of timing. If you complete first, nothing happens as his crack follows. If he cracks you first and then you change your password, he will have to crack you again. So at most you gained 1 hour and lost 30 AP.

But by the time that 1 hour ends you can have your Change IP process completed.. It's best to always keep an AP backup close to 300 just in case you get attacked.. Ofcourse not a lot of players, even top players, do this.. |

Perhaps a password change should at least reset the cracking process, if not interrupt it entirely. |

Or, as jimmi33 stated, we kick up the AP cost, but that might just favor Gold accounts. Then again, as hard to come by as AP seems, it may work. |

That's why you have IP change - that severs all the connections and pass cracks. And it costs more - 300 AP - for a reason.
So IMHO those two are just right. Spend small and get simple pass change, spend large and you are protected more ...

It is not useless since we've never heard anyone complain about it before, over 8 months the game exists.. I understand your point made but I do believe that it works fine just the way it is. |

If someone knows your farm and you want to make sure it is protected just keep bombing your own farm till all of it's hardware is overloaded and start a new farm.
