It would also remove some anonymity from the game.

Open up 20 browsers for each of your group members, each on a different search.

You then hack a renamed server and delete some files. Refresh all your browsers and you know who you just hacked.

Heh I set my picture on the factions page but it would be cool if we could have a profile that is viewable by other players.  Maybe you can search for it or click on the name of the person in the top rankings/online list to see their profile.
