- Some new software has been added, codenamed "IP Leech" virus and "IP Leech AV"
-> the "IP Leech" virus reveals an IP of a server in the same network. For faction network, it reveals a random server and may also reveal another server with a high software on it. For private servers, the leech will reveal a random server, with a small chance for a server with higher software on it. When activated, the virus also writes a log of the last activation data.
- the new software is available at the public servers FTP and at the software store.
- Nmap Scanner has been renamed to "IP Scanner" for better understanding of its function.
- "IP Scanner" now has a chance to reveal the owner of a server.
- Chance depends on IP Scanner version.
-> 3% +0.1% for 0.1 V, min chance 3%, max 50%
- IP scan now takes 60 minutes, and each V 0.1 reduces time to complete by 10 seconds
- min time to complete an IP scan is 30 minutes. Skills / faction bonus is applied after the version reduction, further reducing time.
- IP scan will take 35 AP now.
- vacation mode, once activated it can only be deactivated after 72 hours or more have passed.

Does it have to be the exact version or is just that version and above? Good now those renamed servers I can at least figure out who they belong to. |

Does it have to be the exact version or is just that version and above? Good now those renamed servers I can at least figure out who they belong to. Yeah, the missions will send you to install an IP Leech vir of some version. I think you will be required to install a minimum version, and anything above is acceptable. You will receive HPD based on the minimum version that you install, so higher paying missions will require you to install higher versions... |

No result when scan blocker is higher than IP scanner ? Well, the IP Leech will acquire network indent of one of the factions and give a faction server (public / secret). For Private Networks, it gives another players server IP. Don't think it gives Unlisted servers though... This is chance based, so the IP dealer may still be of some use... For the scanner, yes the blocker can still block any scans if it's higher version, you'll be more safe if you research the blocker and keep it running memory... |
