The Hijack file virus has gained new abilities.

It is now possible to hijack a file from the server that has the virus installed on it.
You access the virus commands via "Software". Click on "Hijack file" to begin the hijack process.

- hijack file command works by launching a compressed download of any "visible" file on the server. "Visible" means if your gateway doesn't have a high "Unhider" running, you may miss some of the hidden files.
- hijack file virus uses 1 kbs bandwidth for every 0.1 version now
- one hijack file virus can only launch one compressed download. If you already have one task for that file running, you will need to terminate that first.
- compressed download is only visible on the gateway that launches the task. The target that has the virus installed on it will not be aware of the download, as the download takes place in the occupied bandwidth of the virus.
- download speed is 500% that of the used bandwidth of the virus. The gateway has to have the required bandwidth available to receive the file. Also each task taxes the gateway to the full running costs in order to decompress the file as it comes in.
- every 36 hours run time of the virus gives a +0.1 bonus to the version when starting the task.
- the hijack virus can only be run every 1 hour, as it needs that time to study the host it is installed on.

Data hijack virus is still pretty useless  10

You need a good version hijack virus to get some decent bandwidth for the download. If even you manage to get one installed the target will just change IP before you've been able to make use it.

So I suggest a shorter activation time and to make this virus immune to IP change. Then it'd be awesome  5

Oh and let's not forget this issue which goes hand in hand with this:

Good, this RVI thing has been fixed recently, so can we concentrate on the other issue now ?

I got several ideas for improving the HJ vir and working on it now, but open for suggestions too, so you can post here if you got anything interesting  1

Cheers!

i would just make it use more BW, thus speeding up hijacks, but others may have better ideas. it also should be possible to inject Hijack file virus into servers with no resources available. it would crash anyway, unless ultra fast injection and hijack
