hmm, perhaps changing the ip allows you to have the virii installed on your pc? assuming you have a equal or higher level decryptor to reverse engineer it or something along those lines =P

sounds good to me, and unhide to fish out those tricky little pieces that get dropped once process starts (such as exist checks >.> they make me made) |

I think if the host is local it could be fine do not delete the file. In other words, I would not like to delete my own adware spam daemon...  |

Yes. Besides, 100Mb for a 7kbps connection is A LOT time waste. Perhaps it could be a option on AV saying to delete the file or not, checked to delete by default (since don't delete it is a exception). |

Well viruses, most AV s just like fix the virus and not touch the file, but if the file itself is the virus it is usually deleted, moved to some where i forgot, or is just made unaccessible ( not sure about this one lol  ) |

when it's quarantined it is not effective, does not generate, and is other wise worthless as well, but, does not show up inactive, merely as not generating (in other words exists in the eyes of owner, but not in eyes of server :P) and does not take up cpu/memory/bandwidth

A usual AV asks what you want to do: delete, quarantine or nothing (in those cases [rare ones] when it's false alarm). I support this method to the HP's AV!  |
