The newbie protection states that it will protect newbies with

"CPU>1100
OR
Bandwidth>10
OR
(not logged in for the last 7 days)"

And that during this protection period, the newbie can not have anything uploaded to their server.
Well I had my bandwidth directly at 10, so that I would fall into the "Bandwidth>10" (it does not say Bandwidth>=10) category, and my CPU at 1000.
I also have been active since i've played, so not falling into the "not logged in for last 7 days" category.
By this statement, I should still be under newbie protection.
How is it then that I was able to be hacked and two viruses installed?

This have been mentioned in another thread. People were furiously discussing where the newbie protection ends.

Therefore there is no reason to fear.

Eh, newbie protection stunts your growth, though. Plus, half the thrill is fighting off an attack when someone hacks you. That doesn't change at high levels, either; best time I've had in weeks was last night, when somebody compromised my two main servers.

Well the problem is now that I have to reformat because the installed viruses are taking all my resources because they are so low. I can't run password break and firewall break at the same time... Also I have no bandwidth now so I cant get an antivirus. Yay for my second reformat!

You could PM Ebolla or that other guy that have posts in general offering to clean private servers of Virii.
