Zand, it's not about money per file share; that remains at a constant 60 per .1, but about cash per hour per AP, which gets better at higher versions. Just a little, mind you, but enough to be worthwhile if you've got the time and resources to do it.

The cost to install is 3512 AP each.  So 3 days before it finishes activating I can't do much!

Gah, I somehow managed to leave a zero off my 32000 when I tried to check and couldn't figure out what went wrong.  I feel much better now. XD

the size of its mostly prestige isnt it? I mean other than your personal server who could install that on anything, not to mention the download times. Unless the cash bonus off it is better than X number of .1 fileshares using the same amount of BW............ But regardless its an amazing achievement having a version that high

100 .1 File Shares = 4,700 AP
1 10.0 File Share  = 3,512 AP

That is almost 1,200 AP saved.
