Now get rid of the IP dealer and we have a whole new realm of gameplay Nice! I really do not want the IP Dealer gone. I really do. Him and the software dealer both. No reason for either now. I agree. the IP dealer must be destroyed. Software dealer should only be able to provide up to .5 versions. Anything higher than that should not be allowed. UNLESS: a player could sell their software on the software dealer exchange. Thus giving them a small percentage of what it is worth (10% of the sale price) only when the software was purchased, though, by another player.

Why not add more staged of IP dealer if not remove it, so instea dof the jump from 0.5 max version to unlimited it goes up in price per highest version, and remove wizrd IP entirely and have architect as the top... You get me? Kinda sleepy...

The way the current system works, I can see allowing only sales of 0.2 to 0.5 versions on the software dealer while eliminating the IP dealer. This would have the side effect of eliminating access to any inactive servers, but who really uses them these days except to build up malware time. The versions which those servers can host can't be that large, however. (I've not done it, so I would not mind being corrected on the malware issue.)
Either way, if we gain the ability to sell software to the dealer and make that the only way to make versions above 0.5 available on the dealer, I could get behind that.

For private servers, the leech will reveal a random server, with a small chance for a server with higher software on it. @Siremi: I'm still trying to figure this thing out .... do you mean I can install a leech on my own gateway and it'll return another players IP (if succesfull) ? You were right about the IP dealer btw; The leech as it is now can not replace it.

I think he means it'll return your other server IPs.
So, if you have one installed on someone's server, and they have five servers, you'll be able to find the IPs for the other servers owned by that player.

Sniffer Daemon size should be reduced dramatically and that could be used as a source for IP theft.

Maybe a software the Generates IP's like the leech...but Always produce certain Number of IP a day...but not a Database Cracker..that would be ridiculous

Generates IPs? A random number generator?
That has been suggested before. Basically WarGames type dialer. Every so often it spits out a random valid IP address.

IP leech is bit weird thus far.
IP Leech running for 23.29 hours with version V 0.2 There is a 4.08% chance to get an IP in this network and 1.07% chance to get an IP containing a higher level software! Please confirm your action to continue.
Acquired network ident [Icarus Network] IP Leech running for 11.75 hours with version V 6.33209 There is a 8.29% chance to get an IP in this network and 3.66% chance to get an IP containing a higher level software! Please confirm your action to continue.
Better to keep a tiny version and build up hours considering the AP charge and the fact it uses like all a secrets resources
