I think it would be good if you can reseach programs and have a choice of paying with HPD or AP.

I'm not sure I follow; that would imply it only takes one of them. Right now, it takes both. Also, the two are not interchangeable.

Ok I'm sry i did not know it took AP and HPD. But in that case could it take more AP then HPD

I guess the bigger question is - what are newbies to do with all those AP  21 I can tell you I'd be happy to sell some of them at times.

It would help the top players even more.... they have piles of money lying around and nothing usefull to spend it on. They could research beyond all limits if they had the choice between AP and HPD.
