Besides SoSN is hiding in newbie protection.
Or that server would have experienced some serious attacks.

fileshare gives bw*1.2 per hour income.
Once you reach the ability to install a 4.xx a day the you end up hitting the cap of action points /day
which costs about 700k/day in hardware (not counting discount) which you can reach with about 24k worth of fileshare BW.

Drat. SoTL hit drzejb just a moment to soon.
This morning my upload of a V1 malware bomb had room. This afternoon I tried to complete the upload and got the no room message (and while I was trying to make room the PW got reset)

Bad news; Emi must've changed the rules on Rev since you checked, V-man.

Remotehost: Interrupted, activate virii file #263762 Revelation Virus V 0.148  [Kernel]

drzjeb interrupted my install of Rev on his server, it seems.
I think that this can be achieved at any time by doing an IP change.
Which I believe is something that hasn't been tested

I'd like to know where that PW protect being uploaded to Drzejb is coming from. The upload has not been initiated on the server having Revelation so to be able to upload malware it has to be chucked out on the other side.

and Drzejb.
IP [NotonForums!] scan completed...

Scanning for active firewall version... No firewall protection!

Scanning for active passwd protection version... No password protection!

Scanning for highest version software... Detected DB FireWall Protect 49.054 V 49.054 as highest version file...

Scanning hardware... Detected 60550 Mhz CPU core, 3719168 kb Memory, 50 Gb hard drives, 600 kbs Bandwidth.

Player is also in the process of uploading a v100.678 pw protect. It is not installed as of this moment.
Also the player behind that server is doing at least two IP & PW resets a day.
I'm currently not capable of bypassing the log deleter used by the player running the server so I can't track the uploads (seems the player is attempting to keep his BW clogged) to cancel them.

I've seen at least 3 people (besides me) who have been going after that Drzejb server.

The problem: The guy starts a IP change and PW change after he activated the last one.

The bad: It is also getting a bit harder to crack him seeing that the server is currently in the process of receiving a V101 PW protect and has completed a V49 firewall download. Both are a significant upgrade from the old firewall (V15) and PW protect (11).

The good: HD capacity has been upgraded to 50 GB. That should allow people to play bomberman with the server 1

Oh fricking great. I just spend all my money in getting a decent research server (The reason the thing could handle 5k research threads on the 0.1 log deleter at the same time) going only to be told I could have better spend that bundle of cash on buying the stuff.

Top of the line firewall bypass costs only 8.5 million.  blowup

Now, getting into the general chat of the thread:

Did not rev needed being activated by 10 people (10 times, as each user can only activate once) for starting a reset?
Yes but the Tsar Bomba version of Revelation have been named like that for a reason. Only way to win against that one being installed is to get lucky that there are not enough people wiling to nuke the game.
10  General Category / HP History / Re: The Anti-Rev Game Show on: October 24, 2008, 02:01:53 AM
Good point Donn.

To summarize:

Bombing the site isn't going to work since Rev is in install mode.
Installation is going to take days (between 4 and 5 for 1.0 and 11 for the other version)
Removing Rev is going to take days.
You cannot use Faith to remove Rev until it is installed.
Attempted deletion of the file in question will take 3333h 18m 49s (add a few seconds)
This is going to be a team effort due to counter attacks.

Just 1 question.
How the [censored] did they manage to sneak that many out in at the same time?
12  General Category / HP History / Re: We have our first identified Pro-Revelation member on: October 15, 2008, 01:59:28 AM
Seeing the pile up happing at that server I suspect this won't last long (first time I've seen more then 50 hostile processes active at the same time on a player gateway).

Who ever owns that has put up a PW and IP change. Plus a complete disk format, IF there is any HD left in 3 1/2 days.

Oh and people might want to drag along a cloaker. Someone stuffed an IP sniffer on there as well.

Also TnW appears to be on the side of Revelation as they are attacking all other groups virii.  So TnW needs to die repeatidly.
So I need to get a decent program hider and then just stick large files on the lower servers (The ones people have posted here).

If you still need help with a DOS on a hidden TL sever just put up an IP and I'll sink it (sort of).
