How long does newb protection last, and how can it be broken?

Newbie Protection is active until your CPU surpasses 1100 CPU or your Bandwidth surpasses 10 kb/s.

It will also become void if you do not log in for 7 days.

what if your band is 10 have you then lost your protection

As far as I know, as long as it does not surpass the total, you're fine. I haven't tested it out.
