why does a v2.5 and a v.1 take the same amount of time to capture a virri?

What kind of virii?

The way virii capturing works is that if the virus breaker is of a higher version than the virus you're trying to capture, then you capture with a speed of 75sec/MB. If not, then the time increases exponentially.

Yes, because they are both higher than the virus version, its so you don't go around capping viruses in minutes witha  v300 breaker ot something, its only if the version is smaller than the virus the time changes

A strong breaker only makes sure you get the best bang...  It's the weaker virus breaker that takes much longer. 

It's actually a nice compromise that I think the rest of the game should use.  For example with Password break.  Instead of having to have a greater than version you could use a smaller version, it would just take that much longer.
