Ok, we have worked on a way to be able to see the best software available in HP and be able to buy / hire the software dealer to steal the software and place it on your gateway.
The name of the software will start with "Stolen" and then the type you selected, so you don't know who the software you bought belongs to, but it does belong to someone in the game. Example: "Stolen Firewall Protect". You can rename the software if you research it after you bought it.
The price is higher then the normal mega-corp V 0.1 - 0.5 software and about 300% of research value for Golds, and 250% for non-Gold accounts.
To buy the software, you have to click on "Software" -> "Purchase Software" -> "Best in HP" (just right of the available versions)
Then select the type of the software and click purchase when you decided. To change the type, click "Best in HP" again and select another software type. All "Best in HP" software are above version 0.5
You can also use the software dealer to keep tabs on what is the most advanced software in HP
