You were disinfecting our virii on servers we claimed and installing your own.  You did this knowingly.  All I did was install your own virii on your server and hide your AV's.  If anyone else did anything more that is up to them.

However I would like to point out this which is made available for anyone who registers to read.

We are not trying to make anyone submit to our will but we will jealously protect our territory.  If you think this was to severe see what happens when you intrude on our territory again.

Please do not try to make yourself look like an innocent victim.  You made the first attack against us.  We retaliated.  End of Discussion.

I just checked my logs again, and it clearly shows that you killed all my processes, and attempted to delete (managed to delete some) all my files. I can give you the times for every file you managed to delete, as well as the time for every activated virus. The deletions and the activations weren't done by two different persons. Same IP, same time. Maybe you forgot, I don't know. But please refrain from accusing me of lying before you yourself are certain of what you say.

I had to do some things I'm not proud of (some old 70's style porn) just to get unbanned from these forums to respond to this, for it seems you are unaware of who SGP is, what we do, and what we have done.

I deleted about half of your files. I bounced from the same IP Ebolla did to make it appear as if we were the same person.

When you came online i messaged you asking if you'd just been hacked because you had lost a significant amount of power. You fell right into it.

The fact that the bounces came from a public server and you're pointing the finger at one person is quite enjoyable to me. You should work on your Tracing skills.

Please refrain from letting your eyes get the best of you with simple illusions that make this great game what it is today.

In other words,

Please refrain from accusing others until YOU, sir, are certain of what you say.

Good day.

Aye, I remember you sending me a message, seeming to express genuine concern: "Bad enough when the top 20 gets hacked in a new game that we're just trying to build up the community of."

I don't know who this reflects worse on, me, for actually believing you at your words, or you, for playing me. I'll let others pick.

As for working on my tracing skills, it's more a matter of you, who's ranked at 3 times my power, using a log deleter I have no way of countering. I'll admit that deleting files at the same time as Ebolla was infecting me was well played. I had considered the possibility, since there were some logs entries that could spell that possibility, but I thought it somewhat unlikely. As I said, well played.

At this point, I'd like to offer my sincere apologies to Ebolla for believing he was the one responsible. An honest mistake, but a dreadful mistake. I'm sorry.

Should I also assume that the threatening message you 'relayed' from Ebolla was also fake?

sort of a change of subject but i wanted to let SGP know that I was the one that captured a sniffer and spyware on a secret server. I had 4  viri already installed on the server after you announced that you where withdrawing from servers so the rest of us could use them. When i installed mine the server was empty. Someone installed a spyware which i captured, then someone installed 3 more viri of various levels and finally someone using an SGP spyware came in and also put on a sniffer claiming the server as theres. I was simply taking back the territory I had staked out. Trace me back and delete all my files if you must. I was only defending what I had claimed earlier.

wow the group that first was so against spyware now uses it it self. iam so disapointed in you guys.
not only claiming servers that were empty and taken in by others - no you even take advantage of those who installed viriis on those servers.
i lost due to your spywares around 3k thas half of my income
i so dont trust in your words anymore - and the story i heard from one of my friends i heard today makes it even worse.
i lost trust in SGP
are there even any Secret Servers we can use? i mean your 60% claim includes more and more servers so if one finds an empty server that is not on your list yet - that server might get added 2 weeks later screwing the guy over.....
quite a easy living!

To my knowledge, SGP doesn't use spyware for the most part.  Only one member does that I'm aware of, and as far as I know, that is only on 19 servers that are claimed (out of 305 secrets total that I know about).
not only claiming servers that were empty and taken in by others - no you even take advantage of those who installed viriis on those servers.
As far as I can tell, SGP only tends to claim servers that are either empty when they are claimed, or already are filled with SGP virii...
Going through the IPs on the list of claimed servers seems to verify this to me, but I could be missing something.

If there was spyware on the server, and it was really from SGP, it seems sort of lucky if that is the worst that happened.

The SGP server claim list I see currently represents only 18% of the secret servers I have in my IP database, as such it is rather easy for me to find an unclaimed server...  I don't know what is causing your apparent inability to do so.  There are of course many non-claimed servers which have SGP virii on them, but you are free to disinfect these and upload your own without any retaliation.

Can I request a SGP statement on the trouble on True Light Software Repository #3?

Specifically, someone changed the password and loaded high-level FW and PP onto it, thus locking one of the servers critical to newbie growth away from said newbies. I am well aware that they can still get the software, but it still strikes me as excessive at a minimum.

I am in no way suggesting that SGP had anything to do with it. However, given you are the Elite in this game, a public condemnation of such actions would be welcome.

It is my understanding that Master Shake is the one doing it.   He is trying to make a statement about the Sniffer Daemon and it's abuse potential.

Although I did upload a Sniffer to #3,I lost it within hours of activation. I had assumed it was disinfected, like most of the ones I put on the publics were. If it was stolen though,I cant claim anything beyond the original upload. I stopped putting them on Publics days ago,as they are simply a waste to resources to maintain. Any new Sniffer attacks on Public servers arent mine, and I will continue to refrain from uploads to them.

EDIT-And just to clarify Im running a v.1 Sniffer, and I have nothing to do with the v.2 going around now- But I do know who is behind it.

I know it's offtopic, but i'm happy to admit that is was me that is experimenting with the .2 sniffer deamons today. Experimenting is the one and only goal i have with these sniffers. I'm not gonna reset the password nor am i gonna use to noobie ip's for my personal gain (they are a little out of my league).

So i have nothing to do with the earlier sniffers and the recent password reset. As a matter of fact it was me that disabled/deleted the v1.0+ protection software on true light repo #3 this morning (just my way of helping the new players).

I'm pretty sure that my experiments have not hurt anyone and I apologize if it did.

Edit: my 0.2 sniffers have been all been desinfected and like MasterShake said: it's not worth the effort so i'm done experimenting.

Just curious.
How can a sniffer reset a password? Is this a bug?
Because, reading his description doesn`t says that....

After a sniffer has been activated for 24 hours you can perform a remote PW Change.

It's not in the Game Guide description because it was an update.
