1  Feedback Terminal / Suggestions / Virus breaker on: January 24, 2011, 09:07:59 PM
So I was toying around with my software today trying to devise a new tricky way to make income with no real effort on my part. The first thing that caught my eye was the Virus breaker.... *snip long boring speech about the economic climate* .... And then I realized. . . It's USELESS.

I propose two things.

1) The base time to steal viruses is reduced by a little bit.
66h 40m  to capture a .1 file share compared to a 12h 20m disinfect seems a tad extreme. (2000 hours to capture a .1 baron)
Why not reduce it to double, or possibly even triple the time of a disinfect?
2)Have research reduce that time further Possibly up to a maximum of 50% reduction on the base time.

For the amount of time, AP, and hardware a high version VB would take to run on a large scale, I don't think that would be too unreasonable.

Any additional thought's/concerns are appreciated.

NOTE: the suggested numbers came from out of my  atention So they very well could be subject to change.

- capture virus: 120, same as AP cost

Since this is such a major update, if you spot any bugs, please let me know.  14

God Speed!

+24    XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX, capture file  ###### IP Leech | Basic IP Leech V 0.1
Only got 24 points for a virii capture, not the 120 stated in your post.

With this new addition could the friend/enemy/neutral list also be updated to show the total PvP Points of the person?

Quote from: Game Guide
Before it can start the chain reaction, the virus needs to create an artificial Intranet network consisting of 10 x Revelation viruses. After 10 Revelation viruses have been installed, a timer starts to count the last 24 hours before the chain reaction reaches critical state. If at any time during the last 24 hours the Revelation network is disabled completely using Faith, the world network may be saved.

10 of 10 popped at 9pm EST.....so wait til just before 9pm tomorrow to pop any disinfects!! Paitence will delay the inevitable. 1

As sad as it is.... this won't work, you must disenfect ALL 10 in this 24 hour period. and seeing as its impossible to remove these huge 2.452's in that amount of time.... This will end the round it seems. So i doubt you'll be seeing me again 1

Ok, drzejb messaged me, telling he read the Guide about Revelation and he started a disk format to remove it.

Anyone who can access his server to verify this?

I'll check it for you.... hour long crack so i'll edit this post when i know

Update: Format HDD [localhost], 17h 29m 6s -- He is indeed formatting.

2> Riolic the best way you can help is to get rid of your copies.

I'm not convinced that any of the copies are his. If they are, all he has to do is press "task complete" and the problem is solved. I'm sure he would like to see SGP taken down a peg but I doubt that Riolic wants to waste all the time and effort he's already spent and toss away his income in a reset. I believe he would find much more satisfaction in performing direct attacks rather than using underhanded tactics which punish everyone.

Ah ha, so someone actually dose get it!!!!

Please do not create false quotes.  I have never and will never use the word dose when it should be dose.

sorry about that, was falling asleep and put in the quotes wrong.... my bad.

I currently have the power on my server to disinfect all the revelations in existence simultaneously.... as of about 12 min ago..... so, as soon as i have the AP for it i will start helping to counter the servers.... but this still aint looking good.
12  General Category / HP History / Re: Sons of Technological Liberty on: October 27, 2008, 02:18:34 PM
well Riolic did it once why shouldent he do it again? ^^

im out of AP.... currently have a grand total of 23..... not even enough for a crack+upload....
13  General Category / HP History / Re: Sons of Technological Liberty on: October 27, 2008, 02:04:02 PM
to tell you the truth then i have uploaded malware and tryed to bomb him and deleting the file but Riolic like to protect him ^^

I got one once, killed remote uploads and hacked you guys, i haven't been in any servers besides my own and one other persons since then, so, shut up and stop accusing me of stuff i didn't do show proof or GTFO.
14  General Category / HP History / Re: Sons of Technological Liberty on: October 27, 2008, 01:00:46 PM
And just a piece of information. When Riolic cracked me i followed his bounce and quess which server it stopped at?

The new SoTL server. No new bounce from there. Either Riolic really is a part of SoTL or then SoTL helped Riolic with what Riolic told was his doing.

errr. kid my bounce ended at a dead IP by the time you would have been able to track me, so don't go about giving false info, besides you can't even touch my deleter....  Also, I AM NOT SoTL
Get it straight, any actions I take against SGP I always take account for. Why? Because I am proud that i am one of the few who is not intimidated by them, they do not scare me, never have, and never will.

So then, you've contacted SoTL about your servers getting disinfected?

i was contacted*

and how am i not fighting fair?

1 - I crack your farm
2 - you crack my alt account
3 - you fail at life

I cracked your alt on an unrelated note, he was just someone to play with. You think I knew it was your alt before then? No I didn't.  I don't even pay attention to forums unless one of my friends let me know I am being blamed/flamed for something that i had no part of.... I had 1 Post before this thread and the one about the guy who used the .1 rev virus... I hack people for fun, and for something to keep me entertained while I wait for my installs on my farm to be done, get the heck over yourself....
