it would be nice if we could pack files to split them into smaller parts, secure them with password or maybe compress them (not necessarily). you would have to specify what size of parts you want (in bytes; if you want to split), a password (if you want) and compression method (none/fast/slow). maybe the program could use a running encryptor or pwd protect process to make it harder to crack the password. to unpack you also need packer software (or there could be another unpacker soft for that) as well as all parts of the file and the password, if the package is secured with it. if you dont know the pass you could use pwd break. higher level packer software makes it pack/unpack faster
