If I delete a file that's being downloaded by another person, what's going to happen if I finish the process first and if he get it ready first.

if you delete it before he finishes it, he doesn't get file, if he does get it then nothing happens, and he gets said file and it's all good

he gets a "File not found!" error

But this error only is shown to him when he clicks on task complete, right?

Is this right? I mean, the right thing shouldn't be whether the deletion's task complete get locked or downloading task cancel automatically? In this last case, it doesn't make sense anyone's gateway download an already deleted file...  21

download is usually faster then delete process, if he clicked download and there was no delete in the process list he should be fine.

no, someone did a calculation on how much bandwidth is needed to out pace a delete, it was actually kinda scary, but not horrible (to those in the top 10 anyway >.>)

I think it's possible also. Actually, I am who is downloading a file and the other guy has the task complete available.

I asked that because I can be downloading that file for nothing, and I want to know if what should I do: kill the process or wait until the end?

its only 17... 17 is when you need to download within 1 minute before someone starts a delete, and 18 for a normal one i tthink.

It's not that difficult really, I'm approaching 200 kbits. 1

As soon as you have some viruses installed, the money starts coming in, meaning more bandwidth, meaning more viruses, meaning more money, meaning more bandwidth, ... you get the idea. I just fear that I'll soon have to dump money into researching better virii to prevent being owned by spyware.

I'm glad the SGP has banned spyware on secret servers, otherwise I'd probably be disinfecting spyware all day...
