I think to make Rev hard to start and to balance problems that this should be implemented:

If you have a Faith anti-virus that is higher than the version of Rev you are disinfecting, then the higher the Faith is than the Rev that the shorter the time it takes to disinfect the Rev, But the higher it gets the less quicker it gets... For example:

Theres a v1.0 Rev and a V1.0 Faith. The disinfect takes 10 hours.
Then, theres a v1.0 Rev and a v2.0 Faith. The disinfect takes 8 hours, 2 hours less then before.
Then theres a v1.0 Rev and a v3.0 Faith. The disinfect takes 7 hours, 1 hour less than before, even though there was the same increase in version.

So in the middle example for being v1.0 ahead there was 2 hours less disinfect time. But in the last example there was only 3 hours less for being v2.0 ahead.

This will also prevent people from stopping the research on Rev once it reachs .8 just because they think it is now "unstoppable". They will have to research it more and more to keep it ahead of or close to Faith.

Why stopping there? Let's implement the same for virii AV 1

So, if you have a v0.1 rev and v10 faith, it will take only 5 min to clean it? 1

But you are right, that would even things a bit with Faith/Rev ... Although requirements to run a Faith v3 or more are ... astronomical. and having rev v1 also. so only top people will have high enough faith to be able to use your proposal. And they will probably have that rev too 1

Well we could, but I just thought we could move it in alittle slower then that. 5

No it would decrese the time less and less, so that a v100 and v110 faith would hardly have a change in time while a v1 to v2 would have a far larger change in time. I think the word to explain it would be exponential decay? Or growth maby.  21

I hope you know that it takes LOTS of AP to install a rev. So if you research faith to a certian level then you can't start rev no matter what.

You mean research Rev probably..

And you can. I believe SGP researched it last round till it was almost impossible to install due to limited AP. I do believe it costed above 3K AP in those days to start that v2+

Ofcourse you can always buy AP and then the limit is 10K AP I think. Should have to ask Emi about that.

The AP regen just stops at 3k AP for non Gold and 5K AP for Gold members.

No i did mean faith ^^ Because if this update was made then faith with no limit in AP would beat Rev anytime.

Rev at the level that it was last round took almost 5k AP to activate.  The limiting factor for the rev virii last round was AP, they were the highest they could possibly get and still be installable without buying or voting to get above 5k AP.

Keep dreaming!  13 It didn't matter that the faith was super high last round, Rev was unstoppable. The disinfect times were so long that by the time it finished doomsday would have finished, the round would have ended, and we would've been half way though the next round.  laugh

uhhhh..... 21 I did read the post..... it said:
I hope you know that it takes LOTS of AP to install a rev. So if you research faith to a certian level then you can't start rev no matter what.

And there is nothing there that says: "if this update was put in", although it could have been tacit when you said it. (Thats one of my vocab words 19)

And as with most people I agree that AP should not exist, especially because there are timers on everything. I've played games with only time, and I've played games with turns, but this is the first game I've ever played with both...... One or the other needs to be removed..... (<--- thats just my opinion on AP 1)

It is okay to make one mistake but makeing the same mistake twice is fail.
